What a breath of fresh air, literally! I have had MANY vacuums that claim to cut back on dust, but I always had allergy problems after using them. This is the FIRST vacuum that I can breath freely with! I love everything about my Oreck!

Before I bought my new Oreck XL, I had what I thought were the best upright and canister vacuum by Bissell® and Electrolux®. Boy was I proven wrong. My XL vacuums rings around them and the remaining dirt that the both of them had left behind. For many years I had to vacuum my home at least twice a week just to re-vacuum over an area I thought I had done from the start. With my New Oreck XL those days are gone. The first time I used it I truly was amazed with the amount of dirt and pet hair I had vacuumed up. Also how clean it had made my carpets and floor look without that 'after dust look and smell' that my other two machines had created. I would like to say THANK YOU Mr. Oreck for making......(to me) THE WORLDS BEST VACUM CLEANER. P.S. We love our upright Oreck. We have to large dogs who leave their hair everywhere. It picks up all the hair on carpet and our hard wood floors. It doesn't scratch or hard wood floors like other vacuums have in the past. I really like that when I take off the bag that there is no new mess.
I don't like having to vacuum up after bag changing. The Oreck just makes vacuuming much easier and quicker. We also have the canister and it makes simple work of edges and the car after a day trip with the dogs. Will never get another vacuum.

I was SO skeptical! I've owned Kirbys®, Hoovers® and the latest was "The Fantom"®. I believed every salesman and when they told me their vacuum was the best, I fell for it. Well, needless-to-say I was leary of another vacuum pitch. But, Oreck has changed my way of thinking! I absolutely LOVE my vacuum!! I've had back problems for years and could only vacuum one room at a time. When I bought my Oreck I vacuumed my WHOLE HOUSE! I was amazed that when I was done my back wasn't hurting! And it felt so good to know that I did that all by myself without help from my son or husband! Wow! Thank you Oreck! I've been using the canister vacuum also and just LOVE that too.
